"I have to go now...", Shadow said to Amy in a low tone. Amy looked at him confused for they've only sat down for a mere 5 minutes. Amy had invited him to join her for a
cup of tea earlier that day when she bumped into him. He hesitated to accept but she insisted.
"But you didn't even touch your tea", Amy argued as I stood up from her sit. "I just need to be alone...", Shadow mumbled so quietly Amy could barely hear him. She frowned at his words and walked toward him. "Shadow...", Amy started as she reached for his hand. Shadow only glance at her over his shoulder before he walked out the door. "Why...Why do you do this Shadow! ", Amy yelled at him angrily gripping her fists. "What did I do to you!," Amy yelled again at him. Shadow stood there quiet then gripped his fist tight," I just need to be alone."
She was only a feet away from him now," Why? Why do you feel sorry for yourself?" Shadow was silent. "Is it because of her?", Amy asked making Shadow flinch a bit. Amy noticed this and she knew she guessed right. "It's because of Maria...", Amy said making him look down. "Maybe I should dye my quills yellow and wear blue...then you'd like to be with me...," Amy said coldly. Right then Shadow was in front of her, his eyes ice cold as he raises his hand. Amy looks at him shocked but as Shadow looked at her facing her big emerald eyes, his hand shook. He turned away shaking," Don't ever say that again! Understand!"
Amy was just frozen and as she tried to reach for him he walked off. "Leave me alone!", he warned her as his voice started to break. "Shadow I'm sorry!", Amy called to him as she tried to reach for him. "It was uncalled for and I really am sorry...It's just that you keep pushing me away...", Amy said as her voice too was starting to break up. Shadow took out a chaos emerald and was about to perform Chaos Control to warp himself somewhere else. As he raised his hand up , Amy suddenly holds him tightly making him drop the emerald. "Damn it Amy!", Shadow swore trying to break free from her grip.
She grabs his cheeks making him look at her face to face. "Shadow! Listen to me!", Amy exclaimed as tears started to stream down her cheeks. Shadow stared at her as she held onto his face strongly, as she continued," Look...I...I may not know exactly what happened back then...Or how you felt...But you're not the only one hurting!" Amy swallowed hard starting to a shake ," It hurts me when you push me away...I was hurt enough when Sonic ran away from me...I can tell from your voice...from your eyes that you're afraid..." He looked at her more surprised as he tensed up. "You are afraid to get into another bond...worried that you will end up only hurting more...", Amy continued not loosening her hold on him. "But you are only hurting yourself and me by running away...I care about you Shadow..." He grew less tense as he listen," I can't fix all your problems...but I can promise you that you won't face them alone." She then gave him a warm smile, the smile that could always warm his cold heart.
She gave him a light kiss on his forehead and he wrapped his arms around her tightly. Her turned to be surprised she looked at him. "Thank you Rose...", Shadow whispered softly holding her close like he was afraid to let her go. Amy blushed lightly and closed her eyes. They were still and she rested her head against his chest gently. She giggled in her mind as she felt the softness in his white fur. Then her cheeks warmed up as she heard his heart beat. It was a beating steadily, soundly. She smiled as she closed her eyes listening to his heart beat soundly.

A couple people told me that they had trouble reading it so I did my best here to fix it and make it easier to read.
I'm not much of a writer...^ ^;;;
But I do plan to make stories with drawings like this with other characters like from Inuyasha, Pokémon, the Little Mermaid, and other movies and shows I like to watch.
Hope some of you enjoy ~
